Chinese calligraphy is normally regarded as one of the unique “Arts”. Chinese characters are the oldest characters, with a history of at least 5,000 years. Many Chinese enthusiasts were initially attracted by the beauty, complexity and mystery of Chinese characters. Chinese calligraphy is the art of writing, and it is a very unique visual art.
During this seminar, our teacher will guide you step by step between the different techniques, styles, and history of this type of writing.
Learn about the different types of paper and brushes and their significance, the wide range of inks, and the ways of articulating lines and compositions.

who to participate?

The program is aimed at both adults and beginners, as well as people who are interested in Chinese culture and calligraphy. 

What will I learn?

in the seminar we will practice five kinds of style:
★: introduction the history of calligraphy and five types of writing.and learn the technique of writing of zhuanshu (seal script), write a Chinese famous Idiom.
★: introduction and learn the technique of writing of lishu( clerical script), write a Chinese famous Idiom.
★: introduction and learn the technique of writing of kaishu( regular script), write a Chinese famous Idiom.
★: introduction and learn the technique of writing of xingshu( semi cursive script), write a Chinese famous Idiom.
★: introduction and learn the technique of writing of caoshu( cursive script), write a Chinese famous Idiom.
Feel free to experiment and sharpen your skills in an enthusiastic but meditative and calm atmosphere!
